Premiere IT Consulting

The DataTech Group succeeded in improving a system
that was complex and fragmented. Integrating old data with a new net-centric
design, we created the efficiency and clarity required of a new billing system.
More importantly, our solution went from the drawing board to deployment
in less than nine months. In fact, this system's popularity has grown and
is now widely used among government agencies.
DISA (Defense Information Systems Agency) needed an improved process to accurately project telecommunications costs and revenues for program management, financial reporting, rate development, and budget development. Billing was reported as the number one concern among customers; DISA knew they had to improve billing timeliness, accuracy, and clarity.
We were able to integrate existing information systems and data sources and deploy a net-centric, telecommunications billing solution for a DoD-wide user base. Our technical expertise and focus on the DISA specific needs resulted in improved system usability and clarity.
Partnering
again with NCR, we designed a Network Information Warehouse capable of identifying
and forecasting the capacity of heterogeneous central office hardware for
BellSouth, improving their Return on Investment by $17 million in the first
year alone.
The Network Information Warehouse (NIW) integrated SEVEN legacy systems sourcing
data from more than 1600 central offices from 9 different Southeastern states.
Our team's success enabled BellSouth clients to better assess their telecommunications
needs, saving them time and money.
This project is currently
in its seventh year of production and has extended its scope by measuring
telecommunications trunk capabilities.
